This is a simple and elegant drink that takes your classic mint julep up a notch. The bourbon and simple syrup combine to make a sweet drink. Add the mint leaves before serving and make sure they are strong enough to taste.
Ingredients

2 oz. Diamond State Bourbon

0.5 oz. Simple Syrup
- 3-4 Fresh Mint Leaves, more for garnish

Crystal Whiskey Tumblers
Directions
- Add the mint & simple to a rocks glass, bruise lightly using a muddler
- Add a good scoop of crushed ice over the mint & simple
- Pour the bourbon over the crushed ice & garnish with more mint
- Enjoy!
