Ogden’s Own Distillery’s gears started turning in the early 2000s when founder Tim Smith was fiddling with recipes. He landed on a recipe that would become their Underground Herbal Spirit. With a product in hand, Tim needed a distillery to back it. With some help from Steve Conlin, they opened the doors to Ogden’s Own Distillery in 2009.
Ogden's Own Distillery's Madam Pattirini Gin tips its bonnet to a little-known, but wildly interesting footnote of Utah's history. Madam Pattirini is the pseudonym used by Brigham Morris Young, son of American religious leader Brigham Young, when he dressed in drag. Distilled in small batches that produce less than 1,000 bottles at a time, the gin exhibits loud notes of juniper, coriander, ginger, cardamom and lemon.
The tasting notes of Madam Pattirini Gin make it perfect for cooking up a batch of these delicious Lemon and Gin Chicken Wings!
