Ogden's Own Distillery

Around the turn of the 20th century, Ogden, Utah was a lawless land. Step out of the train station at the notorious Two-Bit Street and you’d have no trouble finding an unfamiliar lady, a den to gamble in or some bootlegged liquor to swig. Odgen’s Own Distillery takes that raucous chapter of Utah’s past and distills it into award-winning craft spirits.

Ogden’s Own Distillery’s gears started turning in the early 2000s when founder Tim Smith was fiddling with recipes. He landed on a recipe that would become their Underground Herbal Spirit. With a product in hand, Tim needed a distillery to back it. With some help from Steve Conlin, they opened the doors to Ogden’s Own Distillery in 2009.
They’ve expanded their award-winning line of craft spirits to include Utah’s best-selling craft spirit Five Wives Vodkas, Porter’s Whiskeys and Madam Pattirini Gin. Named for a little known footnote of Utah’s history, Madam Pattirini is the pseudonym that B. Morris Young, 35th son of Brigham Young, would perform drag under.
