An apple a day keeps the winter blues away!
|2 oz. Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Hard Cider Barrels|
|1 oz. Swoon Simple Syrup|
|2 dashes Spiced Apple Bitters|
|Apple Slices, for muddling|
|Fresh Mint Leaves, for muddling and garnish|
Add a few apple slices and sprigs of mint to a cocktail shaker. Muddle lightly. Pour in bourbon, bitters, and simple syrup, along with a few ice cubes. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Fill a julep cup with crushed ice and strain contents of shaker over fresh crushed ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and an apple slice.
