Surrounded by the bountiful natural resources that Vermont has to offer, there’s a small batch distillery occupying a brand new barnhouse in Windsor’s Artisan Park. Founded by an eighth generation Vermonter and his partner, SILO Distillery presents a bouquet of Vermont with each bottle of their award-winning craft spirits.
Peter Jillson and Anne Marie Delaney founded SILO Distillery in 2013. Able to trace his Vermont lineage back generations, Peter always knew he wanted to found a business that would celebrate his state’s handcrafted way of life. SILO Distillery is always hands-on. From grain selection at Grembowicz Farm in North Clarendon to bottling in their barnhouse distillery, they ensure their product is the best representation of Vermont.

Harvest Mule


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 1.5 oz. SILO Vodka
  • 3 oz. apple cider
  • 3 oz. ginger beer
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a glass or copper mug filled with ice. Stir gently. Garnish with cinnamon stick; apple, lemon or orange slice.

SILO Bloody Mary


Ingredients:
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together. Transfer to container, and place in refrigerator. Let sit for one day.

Cucumber Summer


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. cucumber-lime simple syrup
  • 1 oz. Cointreau (Check out BigFish's craft spirit selection for possible substitutes!)
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 2 oz. SILO Cucumber Vodka
Directions:
Shake hard with ice, and strain into your favorite glass.

Queen of Thorns


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. honey simple syrup
  • 1 oz. cardamaro
  • 1.5 oz. SILO Cucumber Vodka
  • 2 kumquats
  • Couple dashes of cranberry bitters
  • Soda water
Directions:
Muddle kumquats and simple syrup. Add all ingredients and shake well. Strain over ice into a collins glass. Top with soda water. Serve with a straw.

Summer's End


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. dry vermouth
  • 0.75 oz. SILO Cucumber Vodka
  • Alice and the Magician 'Citrus Blossom Harvest'
  • Citizen Cider Brose
  • Sprig of Lemon Balm
Directions:
Clap the Lemon Balm in your hand to release the oils of the herb. Place in rocks glass with ice. Add all ingredients, top with cider. Spritz with 'Citrus Blossom Harvest' aromatic.

House Margarita


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Cointreau (Check out BigFish's craft spirit selection for possible substitutes!)
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 2 oz. SILO Solstice or SILO Cucumber Vodka
Directions:
Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with salt and a lime wheel.

Celtic Seabreeze


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 2 oz. lime juice
  • 2 oz. SILO Cucumber Vodka
  • Basil
  • Club soda
  • Garnish with lime peel
  • Mint
Directions:
Add lime juice, syrup, vodka and basil into shaker with ice, shake well. Strain and pour into highball glass with ice. Splash of club, garnish with mint and lime peel.

SILO Sunset


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Triple Sec
  • 1 oz. Element pineapple turmeric shrub
  • 2 oz. SILO Vodka
  • Orange garnish
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake hard. Strain into a cocktail glass, serve up. Garnish with orange peel.

Lavender Collins


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. honey
  • 1 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 2 oz. SILO Lavender Vodka
  • Soda water
Directions:
Shake first three ingredients with ice, pour into your favorite glass on the rocks. Top with soda water and enjoy.

Citrus Sunshine


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. SILO Lavender Vodka
  • 6 oz. grapefruit juice
  • A splash of Grenadine
  • A splash of Lemon Juice
Directions:
Mix together the grapefuit, vodka and lemon juice. Pour over ice & add grenadine. Garnish with rosemary sprig, grapefruit or lemon slice.

SILO Lavender Lemon


Ingredients:
  • .5 oz. triple sec
  • 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 2 oz. SILO Lavender, Lemon, or Cucumber Vodka
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake hard and serve up with a sugared rim.

Royalty is Overrated


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Triple Sec
  • 1 oz. Chambord, chilled
  • 1 oz. SILO Vodka
  • Black raspberry garnish
  • Dram black bitters
  • Lemonade
Directions:
Shake vodka, triple sec, and lemonade with ice. Strain into a martini glass. Pour the chilled Chambord down the side of the glass so it settles at the bottom. Add a dash of bitters and garnish with black raspberry.

Gin & Jam


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. your favorite berry jam
  • 2 oz. SILO Gin
  • Tonic
Directions:
Shake ingredients with ice. Pour into a tall glass. Top with tonic.

Cucumber Vesper


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Lillet
  • 1 oz. SILO Cucumber Vodka
  • 3 oz. SILO Gin
  • Lemon zest garnish
Directions:
Shake ingredients with ice for 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Squeeze zest over drink.

Irish Buck


Ingredients:
  • .5 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz. SILO Whiskey
  • 3 oz. Ginger Ale
Directions:
Fill glass with large ice cube. Fill with SILO Whiskey, lime juice and Ginger Ale. Stir and garnish with a lime wedge.

Fall in Vermont


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. lemon juice
  • 2 oz. SILO Maple Whiskey
  • Splash of seltzer water
Directions:
Add all ingredients to glass with large ice cube. Top with seltzer water.

Maple Old Fashioned


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. SILO Maple Whiskey
  • Bitters
  • Orange wheel & cherry
  • Splash of club soda
Directions:
In an Old Fashioned glass, muddle the bitters, orange wheel, cherry and a splash of soda. Remove the orange rind, add the bourbon and fill with ice. Garnish with a fresh orange wheel and cherry.

Maple Manhattan


Ingredients:
  • 0.25 oz. sweet vermouth
  • 2 oz. SILO Maple Whiskey
  • Dash of Angostura Bitters
Directions:
Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice and stir. Strain into a chilled glass, and garnish with a cherry. Top with cherry.

Windsor Times


Ingredients:
  • 0.33 oz. dry curacao
  • 1.5 oz. dry vermouth
  • 1.5 oz. SILO Whiskey
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
  • Lemon Twist
Directions:
Stir ingredients with ice. Strain into rocks or cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon twist.

East of Toronto


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 0.5 oz. Zucca (rhubarb amaro)
  • 2 dashes rhubarb bitters
  • 2 oz. SILO Whiskey
  • Orange twist
Directions:
Stir ingredients with ice. Strain into rocks or cocktail glass. Garnish with orange twist.
