About Aviation Gin

A mixologist and a distiller shared an idea. They felt, and continue to feel, that the Aviation cocktail is an icon of cocktail culture. But because the drink is notoriously hard to master, it’s often overlooked. That’s why Christian Krogstad and Ryan Magarian, the distiller and mixologist, set out to create a more balanced gin that would shine a spotlight on the iconic cocktail. Aviation Gin has grown into an icon in their own right. A staple of the American distilling movement, they helped spur the creation of Portland, Oregon’s Distillery Row.
