About Brooklyncello

A Brooklyn couple fell in love in Italy while sipping limoncello in Florence. When time came to return to Brooklyn, the pair knew they wanted to bring back that feeling of Italian warmth and hospitality. Determined to bottle that magical feeling, they reinvented an old family recipe and founded Brooklyncello in 2019.


The Brooklyncello difference starts with their fruits. They wanted to distinguish their limoncellos from the rest, so they experimented with all types of lemons before discovering the beauty of the Meyer lemon. Applying the same experimental approach to their other craft liqueurs, it wasn’t long before they had a tantalizing trio of Italian-inspired liqueurs.


Brooklyncello liqueurs are made within a strict 24-hour window to lock in fresh, cold-pressed flavors. The Brooklyn distillery uses a proprietary infusion process, extracting the full spectrum of flavor of each fruit they use. Brooklyncello are the only liqueur makers using cold-pressed juice in their bottles. And they’re young, so there’s always more flavor on the horizon.
