About Casey Jones Distillery

From Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Casey Jones Distillery is pumping out award-winning moonshines with the help of some rich family history. Their moonshines trace their roots to the Prohibition era Golden Pond and Casey Jones, Kentucky’s infamous master stillmaker.

For founder and master distiller, Arlon Casey ‘AJ’ Jones, this business is in his blood. He and his wife, Peg Hays, founded Casey Jones Distillery in 2014 to continue his grandfather’s legacy. Casey Jones was building stills for moonshiners throughout prohibition until 1967. His still-making traditions are in the forefront of Casey Jones Distillery’s operation.

Casey Jones’s final still is on display in the distillery, and it was used as a template to build the still they use today. But his influence doesn’t stop there. All of Casey Jones Distillery’s award-winning moonshines are distilled using a recipe that was passed on through generations of the Jones family. Family owned. Family still. Family recipe. Have a sip and become part of their family.
