Born and raised in Reno, James Sipaila founded Forsaken River Spirits in 2015. The distillery sits just 20 minutes away from where he went to high school. He knows the area and all of its offerings. 

That’s why Forsaken River Spirits does everything themselves. From receiving raw ingredients, all the way through labelling and sealing each bottle.From rye whiskey to coffee infused vodkas, Forsaken River Spirits does craft spirits in award-winning fashion. Their Highland Gin is made with 13 different local botanicals and herbs, including lavender and sage. The silver medal-winning gin welcomes you with open arms to the expansive tastes of the desert mountains.
