About Howling Moon Distillery
There’s a small-batch distillery where seven generations of moonshining family history is being bottled in Asheville, North Carolina. Howling Moon Distillery is telling their family’s story the only way they know how, with award-winning moonshine.
Founded by Cody Bradford in 2010, Howling Moon Distillery can trace its moonshining roots back to the early 1800s, and the moonshine they are currently making stems from an heirloom family recipe. Cody’s lineage of moonshiners includes the infamous North Carolina gang leader Hiram Wilson. It’s said that Hiram was so fearsome that he openly distilled moonshine in his yard, and no one batted an eye.
Each batch of Howling Moon Distillery’s award-winning moonshine is hand-made from local, North Carolinian white corn and real fruit. Their line of craft moonshines is punctuated by flavored bottles, including Apple Pie, Peach and Strawberry. Taste Howling Moon Distillery’s uncommon offerings and you’ll find an authentic moonshining story, history and taste.
