About Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling
Under the warm San Antonio sun, Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling is a brewstillery distilling Texas attitude into each of their award-winning craft spirits. All of their craft spirits are made in small batches with love, attention and pure Texas ingredients.
Dennis and TJ Rylander founded Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling in 2010. But just a few years prior they were just a couple of homebrewers with a curiosity for how Texas’ climate might impact craft whiskeys. They filled their first barrel in 2009, and starting in 2011 they have been offering up award-winning bourbon, single malt and rye whiskeys.
At Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling, they don’t shy away from the heat. The heat and humidity offered by the Texas climate expedites the aging process, and they take full advantage. In their non-climate controlled rackhouse, temperatures can reach 120-degrees, meaning that we get to taste their Texas bourbon in 3-4 years.
