About RE:FIND Distillery

Halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco in Paso Robles you’ll meet RE:FIND Distillery. Founded in 2011 by a husband and wife team of vintners, they’re distilling sustainable craft spirits in California wine country.

Owners Alex and Monica Villicana already had years of production experience as the owners of Villicana Winery when they opened RE:FIND Distillery. Years of winemaking also means they had plenty of experience discarding ‘saignée,’ the run-off from the first pressing of the grapes. Alex’s interest in craft spirits lead him to the realization that he can repurpose all of that waste by turning it into batches of uncommon craft spirits.

Teaming with Californian family farmers, craft brewers and boutique wineries, RE:FIND Distillery is producing a full line of sustainable, flavorful craft spirits, including vodkas, gins and rye whiskey. RE:FIND Distillery’s mission to recycle saignée reclaims 60-acres of Paso Robles wine grapes every year.
