About Sea Bishop Spirits

Relaxing in the shade of Mount Rainier is Black Diamond, Washington’s Sea Bishop Spirits. Using all of the finest and freshest ingredients that Washington has to offer, the family owned and operated distillery is on a mission to create the greatest craft gins.

Owning a distillery was the logical next step for John and Tailer Emrick. The husband and wife duo each boast long careers in the restaurant and bar industry, Tailer has served as an executive chef for more than a decade. They could think of no better way to celebrate their native Washington State than opening a distillery. John and Tailer founded Sea Bishop Spirits in 2014.

Sea Bishop Spirits and their award-winning gins are Washington State thoroughbreds. Each of their botanicals come from local farms and business owners. Their water is sourced from the Black Diamond Springs. Even their still was made by a craftsman 20 miles away from the distillery. The resulting gins are as categorically Washington State at Mount Rainier.
