1,200 square feet is not a whole lot of space to conduct any sort of business. But that’s all the space that Pasadena, California’s family owned and operated Stark Spirits needs. Just around the corner from the Rose Bowl, Stark Spirits produces a wide range of award-winning craft spirits.

For husband and wife duo Greg and Karen Stark, spirits are in their bones. Karen has been a gin aficionado from a young age. Ever since her family would host dance parties where London Dry Gin was flowing. Greg has 30 years of homebrewing experience, making award-winning beers, mead and wine. His pursuit of the perfect single malt whiskey is what drove them to establish Stark Spirits in 2013.

From Stark Spirits’ very first offerings of their California Silver Rum and their Sunshine Orange Brandy, there’s been wide demands for their award-winning craft spirits. Their Sunshine Orange Brandy is made with local Valencia oranges from Simi Valley and Ventura County. So every bottle tastes like golden California sun.
