StilL 630 wants you to remember their craft spirits long after you’ve finished your drink, so they do things big. About as big as the Gateway Arch.

In a defunct Hardee’s in St. Louis, barrels are resting and the still is running. That old Hardee’s is now StilL 630, an award-winning craft distillery just a short stroll from its namesake, the 630-foot tall Gateway Arch.

StilL 630’s founder David Weglarz has a background unlike most. Before founding StilL 630 he worked as a futures trader and white water rafting guide. He turned to distilling after a stint homebrewing with his pal. The trouble with homebrewing was he liked drinking whiskey. Not beer. A few workshops and an apprenticeship later, David opened the doors to StilL 630 in June 2012.
