About Tequila Alderete

7,200 feet above sea level in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, Blue Weber Agave is ripening in the sun. Once it’s ready for harvest, it will be distilled into an award-winning line of tequilas for the family owned distillery Tequila Alderete.

The Blue Weber Agave used by Tequila Alderete develops a distinct sweetness due to the altitude and red soil. Once matured, the agave is used to make Blanco, Reposado and Añejo. Using American White Oak barrels, the Reposado is aged six months, and the Añejo 27 months. Each of their tequilas are award-winning in their own right.
