Letterpress Distilling
Amaro Amorino is named for Letterpress Distilling's founder Skip Tognetti's grandfather, Amorino Pinti. The word ‘Amorino' means ‘little love' in Italian. And as everyone knows, love can be bittersweet. What better way to pay homage to Skip's loving grandfather with a bittersweet liqueur. Bolstered by carefully balanced notes of baking spice and earthy flavors, Amaro Amorino has a solid base of Seville orange peel and a distinct floral quality.

Our Story
Step into a former winery in Seattle, Washington, and you’ll be transported to Rome. Founded in 2012, Letterpress Distilling is bringing Italy to The Emerald City with every bottle of their Italian liqueurs. Each offering from Letterpress Distilling is steeped in family history.
Founder Skip Tognetti’s long history with spirits started when he was five years old. He would spend his summers in Rome, helping his grandfather around his liquor store. There he realized the power of spirits as he witnessed his grandfather’s store bringing the community together. After college, Skip spent his time working in wineries until the day came when he was ready to open the doors to Letterpress Distilling.
Letterpress Distilling wouldn’t be possible without Skip spending his days in his grandfather’s liquor store. That’s why he named their Amaro Amorino for his grandfather, Amorino Pinti, lovingly referred to as ‘Nonno Morino.’ Every bottle from Letterpress Distilling is teeming with that history and love.
