Seven Three Distilling Co. is proud to introduce their first aged whiskey: Irish Channel Whiskey. Made of 10-year old American Light and three-year old Irish whiskies, this blend is in honor of the New Orlean's neighborhood Irish Channel, a historic subdistrict known for blending Irishmen and Americans long ago.
Their award winning distiller, Erik Morningstar, worked with world renowned master blender, Nancy Fraley, to develop the meticulous process of blending and finishing this truly unique whiskey in 25-year-old cognac barrels over a period of 8 months.
During that time, aromas of vanilla wafer, butterscotch, chocolate, and coconut meld with fresh orchard fruit like pear and apple, all tied together with a Cognac finish that adds a layer of depth and complexity. It's not quite Irish and not quite American, but this spirit is one of a kind.
