FJW Solera Style American Whiskey

To shape the unforgettable FJW Solera Whiskey, GIA Distillery relies on an old Spanish aging technique. The Solera method. It consists of stacking barrels, and only drawing portions from the bottom barrel for bottling. Then the bottom barrel is filled with the whiskey from the barrel on top of it. And so on. This waterfall effect blends whiskey of varying ages for rich smoky, nutty flavors and a smooth finish typically reserved for the top shelf.
