Ironclad Bourbon Whiskey

Four different Virginian grains meet in the mash of Newport News' Ironclad Distillery Bourbon Whiskey. Corn, wheat, rye and malted barley are double distilled. The distinct blend is aged for a year in newly charred American Oak barrels against the brackish air of Virginia's James River. Ironclad's Bourbon Whiskey has enticingly sweet aromas of cherry juice and oak. The sweetness turns to spice with the black pepper finish, but it retains hints of sweet, caramelized sap from the barrels.
