Emerald Absinthe

Texas' first award-winning green absinthe is the product of a lot of tinkering. Founder of Violet Crown Spirits, Matthew Manusco, was experimenting with centuries-old absinthe recipes before he found the winning combination. A combination they present in their Emerald Absinthe. It's a wine-based craft spirits that's steeped with 13 herbs and spices, including the traditional anise, fennel and grand wormwood. Notes of licorice, mint and green pepper populate this creamy sip. With a recipe based on notes from the 1600s, 1700s and 1800s, this Emerald Absinthe feels as much like a time machine as it does an award-winning craft spirit.
