About Boot Hill Distillery
In the ‘Wicked Little City’ of Dodge City, Kan., a team of farmers started Boot Hill Distillery to celebrate the history of the ‘Cowboy Capital of the World.’ Soil to sip, they’re putting their city in a bottle one craft spirit at a time.
Boot Hill Distillery opened its doors in 2016 in Dodge City’s old Municipal Building that is also on the grounds of the infamous Boot Hill cemetery. Long before becoming a distillery, the storied land was the final resting place of gunslingers and outlaws, all looking for a piece of the Wild West. Boot Hill Distillery is built on the history of Dodge City, and you can taste it in their craft spirits.
Owned by 5th generation farmers, father and son Roger and Hayes Kelman, every grain used to produce their craft spirits is a product of their labor. They grow it, harvest it, mill it, mash it, ferment it, distill it and bottle it. Each of Boot Hill Distillery’s thoughtfully crafted spirits, from their gin and vodka to their whiskey and bitters, is award-winning. Come and taste Dodge City’s legacy.
