Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Imperial Stout Casks

Beer lovers, this one's for you! From Iron Fish Distillery comes Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Imperial Stout Casks. They sent some American oak kegs on a round trip to fellow Michigan creators, The Filling Station Microbrewery in Traverse City. The casks are filled with Imperial Stout, then emptied and returned to Iron Fish where they're filled with bourbon whiskey for finishing. The bourbon whiskey emerges as something truly special. It's malt forward with notes of cherry, dark chocolate and dried fruit.
