Robber's Straight Rye Whiskey

A barrel strength blend handpicked from the rickhouse to the bottle. Robber's is a Maryland Rye with a high corn mash bill of 44% corn giving this whiskey a more fruit forward characteristic similar to that of a bourbon. The whiskey hits the palate with a typical rye spice but is quickly masked with dried cherry, slight vanilla, a hint of tobacco and a slight nutty flavor. This whiskey benefits from sitting in the glass for a hot minute to release some great caramel and butterscotch notes. They strive to keep this blend as consistent as we can but each batch will release slightly different characteristics as these barrels are still aging until the day we harvest.
